East Las Vegas protest causes large road closure

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas Metro police responded to reports of a protest at the intersection of Lamb and Charleston Monday evening.
According to LVMPD multiple cars were seeb “erratically” in the parking lot near the intersection.
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada has reported road closures in both directions.
Police say several people threw bottles and rocks at officers. One person pointed a gun at an officer.
Officials report several arrests have been made.
