Las Vegas police: Man killed at southwest valley house party
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A man was shot and killed at a house party in the southwest valley late Sunday night.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said the shooting happened around 10:53 p.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of Cipro Court, near Starr and Dean Martin just west of I-15.
According to police, officers found a man in the backyard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Clark County coroner identified the victim as Demonte Jackson, 30 of Las Vegas.
LVMPD believes an argument took place during the party and the suspect shot the victim multiple times. The suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
