Warm and Windy Weather Continues
Good morning!
Thursday morning temperatures fall back into the upper 40s and low 50s. Another round of wind arrives Thursday afternoon, with high temperatures holding around the 70° mark.
With the wind picking up, First Alert Weather Days will continue Thursday and Friday. The wind is driven by a storm coming in from the Pacific, bringing soaking rain into California. A Wind Advisory has been issued for the Las Vegas Valley from 10 AM Thursday through 7 PM Friday.
Friday will bring the chance for a few isolated showers over the mountains. It will stay mainly dry for the Las Vegas Valley, with stronger winds arriving on Friday. Wind gusts in the 50 mph range will be possible,, with a Wind Advisory likely for most of Southern Nevada.
The wind settles down for the weekend, with high temperatures falling back into the mid to low 60s.
