LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -We got an early taste of spring on this Ground Hog Day.

While the rest of the country is expecting another 6 weeks of winter we got a really early taste of spring when our high reach 68 degrees.

Monday our forecast high is in the mid-70′s.

We are trapped under a ridge of high pressure to our southwest and a moisture laden low in the Pacific Northwest.

Up in the northwest there is plenty of rain while here in the south its dry with high clouds and warm temperatures.

These two systems will trigger some breezy to windy conditions starting Monday afternoon and continuing Tuesday.

We do have very marginal rain chances less than 10% Tuesday through Friday.

As these systems start to move we will see a gradual decline in our daytime highs.

By the time we reach the end of the week, seasonal temperatures will return.

Seasonal is 61 degrees.
