Temperatures Heating Up
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -A area of high pressure off the coast of California is going to deliver sunshine and warm temperatures to our area the next few days.
This is despite the a very active storm system hitting the Pacific Northwest.
This ridge will keep moisture out of southern regions of Nevada.
Monday will be the hottest day of the year so far with a forecast high of 76 degrees.
Tuesday winds kick up here in the valley with forecast gusts of around 25-30 MPH.
Daytime highs for the next several days will range from 71 Sunday to 76 Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday we will be in the low 70′s.
The normal temperature for this time of the year is 61 degrees.
Breezy conditions are expected Wednesday to Friday.
