Warmer And Windy Weather On The Way

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -Southern Nevada is sandwiched between a strong low the the Pacific Northwest and high pressure to our south.
The two systems will interact over the next few days but the high will win out in the form of deflecting any rain to our area during the first half of the week while at the same time allowing for daytime temperatures to build into the mid to upper 70′s.
Windy weather will also be moving into the valley starting Tuesday.
We’ll see breezy days on Wednesday and Thursday and the back to more of windy day Friday.
As much as the rain is trying to slide into southern Nevada we don’t see that happening.
The last time we had measurable amount of rain in Las Vegas was last summer.
Measurable rain would be 0.01″.
That being said we have very slight chances for something to move into our area for the second half of the week.
While we will be enjoying March like temperatures to start to week by the end of the week we’ll drop back down to near seasonal temperatures by next weekend.
