Warmer Weather Ahead of Next Week’s Shower Chances
We’ll keep Valley highs around 60° through Friday with partly to mostly sunny skies. Conditions will remain dry through the weekend, though some more clouds will come rolling in. Highs in the mid 60s on Saturday will continue a warming trend into Sunday. The forecast high on Sunday in Las Vegas is 70°. This would bring about the first 70° day of 2025 -- nearly right on track, climatologically, the average first 70° in Las Vegas is February 3rd.
The warming trend will continue for the first few days of February, with forecast highs pushing further up into the low-to-mid-70s Monday and Tuesday next week.
The First Alert is up for Tuesday and Wednesday next week, as incoming moisture brings about our next chance of showers. Ahead of the shower chances, the wind will pick up on Tuesday. Stronger wind is expected on Wednesday, along with a chance of showers. The breeze will continue into Thursday, with a chance of mountain shower chances as well.
