Active Weather On The Way

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -Rain showers and mountain snow are on the way to our area.
Snow has already started fall at Lee Canyon. The Spring Mountains have a winter storm warning in place until Tuesday.
Higher elevations could pick up between 8-16 inches of snow by the time the system moves off. The Sheep Range up to 8 inches.
The Sheep Range has a winter weather advisory until Tuesday.
Here in the valley the we will be getting some showers but the timing is a little slower than anticipated.
The forecast suggests rain chances are rising by Sunday afternoon.
BTW you may also see some smoke Sunday from the California wildfires.
The best chance for valley showers starts Sunday afternoon and Monday into Tuesday morning.
The low will slide slide off to the east by Tuesday afternoon allowing for the return of sunny and dry weather.
Thursday and Friday look sunny but there could be another system spinning toward us next weekend.
Daytime temperatures for the week will be below seasonal all week long and will range between 3 and 10 degrees cooler than normal.
