Unsettled Weather Moves In This Weekend.
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -For the first time in 2025 we may actually get some mountain snow and valley rain this weekend.
A system bearing down on us has created winter storm warnings in California and a winter storm watch for our local mountains from Sunday morning until Tuesday afternoon.
The Spring Mountains and Sheep Range could get as much as 2 feet of snow out of this moist system.
This low could also make Mountain Pass wet and tricky to drive once it’s over us once it arrives.
Here in the valley we could see some rain out of this system starting late Saturday night, better chances on Sunday and Monday.
This low is a slow mover so it will linger over us through Monday night into early Tuesday.
The rest of the week will be quiet but cooler.
Our normal daytime high right now is 60 degrees.
We’ll drop to 48 degrees Monday, returning to 60 by the end of the week.
