Breezy Thursday Ahead of a Weekend Winter Storm
Another round of sunshine is on the way for Thursday with a north breeze picking up around the Las Vegas Valley during the afternoon. First Alert Weather Days return this weekend as a cold winter storm drops into Southern Nevada.
Clouds increase on Friday as the storm system drops south. The best chance of rain arrives Sunday and will continue into Monday morning. With colder air wrapping in with this storm, snow levels will be low enough that we can’t rule out a rain/snow mix for some of the higher elevations around the Las Vegas Valley like Summerlin and Anthem. At this point, no significant accumulation is expected.
Slight rain/snow mix shower chances continue into Tuesday before the storm heads out on Wednesday. Temperatures remain below average for the next 7 days.
