The wind is easing into Wednesday evening before another round of wind arrives Thursday afternoon. Smoke from the Southern California wildfires will steer clear of Las Vegas over the next 48 hours.

Dry and gusty wind blowing from the land out to the Pacific Ocean will continue to send the wildfire smoke out into the Pacific Ocean. Your Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies with the wind picking up again during the afternoon and evening. North wind gusts in the 30-40 mph range are in the forecast.

Skies stay mostly sunny through the weekend with another round of wind arriving on Saturday. Gusts will remain in the 30-40 mph range with high temperatures around the 60° mark. Sunday will be cooler and calmer with a forecast high of 59° in Las Vegas.

We’ll keep it breezy at times early next week with high temperatures holding in the upper 50s and low 60s through Wednesday. Slight shower chances return on Thursday and Saturday next week.
