Suspect in deadly southwest Las Vegas stabbing arrested in Kentucky

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Kentucky police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection to the fatal stabbing of a Las Vegas woman in a southwest valley neighborhood last week.

Medical personnel initially responded to the 8700 block of Tom Noon Avenue around 8:42 a.m. on Jan. 25, where they located a woman suffering from a stab wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was notified and began an investigation, which identified 34-year-old David Perry as a suspect in this case.

On Wednesday, Perry was taken into custody by law enforcement in Louisville, Kentucky, where he will remain in custody on a warrant for open murder with a deadly weapon until he is extradited to Las Vegas.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
