LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Nevada Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the Hells Angels motorcycle club is a “criminal gang” under state law.

The ruling stems from a freeway shooting back in 2022.

It now allows a Clark County District Court case involving the shooting to move forward.

In May 2022, police say a shooting on the I-11 in Henderson was between the Hells Angels and a rival gang, the Vagos. Seven people were injured.

Prosecutors have said the shooting may have been in retaliation for a previous murder in California involving the two groups.
