LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - FOX5’s John Huck spent Wednesday talking with Altadena homeowners.

Many chose to stay back to fight the Eaton fire themselves.

FOX5 discovered what compelled these homeowners to defend their homes and their neighbors' homes from the wildfire.
