Henderson vandal arrested for ‘doing donuts’ on grass in park
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - On May 20, Henderson police were dispatched to Mission Hills Park in reference to a gray Tesla doing donuts in a grassy area of the park.
According to a social media post, officers located the vehicle and conducted an investigation into the damage to the grass. Krit Chorazy, 18, was taken into custody. HPD said he faces the following charges:
- Destroying property worth $250-$5,000
- Failure to comply with local park usage regulations
- Reckless driving
- Possession of marijuana
- Minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage
Chorazy has a pretrial status hearing in Henderson Justice Court scheduled for May 22.
This is not the first such incident to happen at Mission Hills Park.
In 2021, Henderson Police arrested multiple teenagers for doing donuts in the park in two different cars, causing landscape damage.
In 2020, $4,000 of damage was done by drivers similarly doing donuts, and earlier that year, several donut incidents were reported in the span of just a few weeks.
