LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A Las Vegas Valley nonprofit needs the community’s help meeting their fundraising goal.

FOX5 has covered stories with Shine A Light before. They connect people living in the underground flood channels to resources, and see them through a continuum of care.

Shine A Light Outreach Director Robert Banghart says this year they are fundraising differently, they are not holding their annual fundraising gala.

Banghart says they need to come up with an additional $30,000 before the end of the year so they can continue to grow their operations. Right now they have 240 clients, but they want to grow that number to 300.
