Suspected pipe bomb in Nye County causes road closure
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A suspected pipe bomb caused a road closure along State Route 160 Tuesday night, according to Nye County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies tell FOX5 that the pipe bomb was located inside a vehicle, sparking road closures to clear the area.
A City of Las Vegas Bomb Squad would later arrive at the scene and disarm the explosive before removing it from the scene.
Roads in the area were closed for nearly three hours, before being reopened around 9:36 p.m.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
