CCSD substitute teacher turns himself in for inappropriate conduct with student

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Clark County School District Police Department investigated an incident involving a substitute teacher and inappropriate conduct with a student.

According to CCSD 25-year-old Kurt Tumbagahan turned himself in following an investigation and a summon for his arrest.

Officials say the investigation began on Jan. 7 following reports of an inappropriate relationship with a minor at Valley High School.

Tumbagahan has been working for the district since April 2024.

CCSD reports he has been removed from from their substitute pool and is no longer eligible to work for the District.

Tumbagahan faces three felony charges. He is set to appear in court on Jan. 30.
