Suspect in Tupac murder case facing new battery charges

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Duane “Keffe D” Davis is facing new charges unrelated to the Tupac murder case, court records reveal.

Court records show a new charge of battery by a prisoner was filed against Davis on Friday, Jan. 24. Initial details about the incident were not immediately available.

Bail for the incident was set at $50,000, though Davis is currently in custody on murder charges related to the drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur in 1996.

He is due in court for an initial appearance on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
