(InvestigateTV) — People in need of a fresh start are finding their way on a farm in Nashville, Tennessee.

They’re not only enriching their lives, but they’re helping grow and harvest produce to fight food insecurity, an issue that impacts about one in seven households in the US.

Reporter Tracy Kornet explains how the idea for these farms sprouted and capitalized on unused land owned by churches.
